I now know how important and yet frustrating it is to keep track of a newborn baby development and general activities such as feeding and sleeping patterns. Thankfully being a mum in the digital age is much easier than what it used to be 30 years ago, so here I would like to give my recommendations for a fantastic iPhone app that can be a life saviour to all mums and mums-to-be.

Baby Connect is a paid application. It costs £2.99 from the app store but is totally worth it. It is a really comprehensive baby tracking applications with trending charts and graphical reports on all the important bits, feeding, nappy changing, sleep, medication, etc.

I love interior design! Back in the day I used to collect magazine clippings with pictures of houses building my dream house in my imagination. Today we have Pinterest and it is even easier to collect inspiration.
When I look at my boards on Pinterest for Home Interior I wonder: do I believe that one day I would move from our one bedroom flat to a fancy house with lots of rooms and space and I would have all the savings saved to give and decorate it in the most fancy way?
With a growing bump and a baby on its way, my newest interior obsession is baby nursery. Although my little one will have its own nursery corner in our bedroom to begin with, I can’t help but look at photos of beautiful interiors online for ideas and inspiration. I hope one day, sooner rather than later, I will decorate my baby’s own room. It’s amazing how interior design has evolved. As a golden rule, less is more, and today with less furniture you can actually store more stuff, while still allowing for more space and light. I am very fond of white colour interiors. Especially for babies, it is so clean, bright and relaxing.

Last Thursday was my birthday. Although my age number is growing I am still excited about birthday celebrations, especially now as I am expecting my very special gift April next year!


Almost six months into my first pregnancy I have turned into a boring lady who is constantly tired, sick and generally willing to stay at home, cook and do knitting. But life is exciting in another way. I am expecting the most wonderful and precious thing and I can’t wait! I pray everything goes well! Following on my earlier post, a knitting pattern for a baby girl set, I also can’t wait to start making, sewing and knitting, clothes and accessories for my little one!
